The Asian American Expo is proud to announce the official dates for its landmark 45th Annual Celebration, taking place on Saturday, January 16, and Sunday, January 17, 2027, at the Fairplex in Pomona, California.

Widely recognized as The Largest Lunar New Year Celebration in America, the Asian American Expo brings together hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world to ring in the New Year. The historic 45th-anniversary event will span across seven massive exhibition halls and outdoor festival spaces, ushering in the Year of the Ram (Sheep / Goat) with unprecedented scale, tradition, and cross-cultural unity.

Since its inception in 1982, the Asian American Expo has evolved from a modest community gathering into a premier cultural and commercial cornerstone in North America. The 2027 Expo will showcase:

Over 1,500 Exhibitors & Vendors — a global market of artisan crafts, Asian beauty and lifestyle products, technology, home goods, and unique cultural gifts.

3 Iconic Food Courts & Specialty Pavilions — hundreds of authentic street food vendors, regional Asian delicacies, night-market favorites, and pre-packaged culinary imports.

Non-Stop Entertainment Across Multiple Stages — traditional dragon and lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, cultural musical showcases, K-Pop/J-Pop dance competitions, and live acrobatics.

Co-Located Anime & Asian Pop Culture Expos — broadening demographics by celebrating the dynamic worlds of anime, gaming, cosplay, and contemporary Asian youth culture.
